Our firm was founded by Dexter Theodore in 1996 as a general civil and trial practice law firm. Dexter Theodore is reputed to be one of the top civil attorneys on the island, with nearly 30 years experience as a quality litigator in the Supreme Court and the Court of Appeal.

He was called to the local bar on 4th October 1984 and has dedicated himself to the proposition that preparation brings success.  He has served as a magistrate in Saint Lucia. He commands an extensive High Court and Court of Appeal practice in Saint Lucia with expertise in employment law, land law, family law, nuisance, negligence and motor insurance law. He has also appeared before the Privy Council in England. Dexter Theodore is the former Secretary and President of the Saint Lucia Bar Association.

He has also served on a wide variety of boards including, the Development Control Authority, the National Research and Development Foundation, the Public Service Commission, the Financial Services Task Force and the National Economic Council. He has also served as the President of the Hospitals Board of Saint Lucia, the St. Lucia Table Tennis Association and the President of the St. Lucia Bridge Association.

Dexter Theodore has also represented Saint Lucia in soft-ball cricket and at under-19 cricket and still is a Division 1 table tennis player.

The law firm of Theodore & Associates was established on 1st October 1996 by Dexter Theodore who for 12 years before that had been in a very successful partnership with Winston Cenac Q.C.

Since its establishment our firm has represented hundreds of individuals and businesses from its offices at 4 Mary Ann Street in Castries, which remains its current location. Our mission is to provide transparent, high quality service to every client; quality when it matters most.
